Memorial Centre Camp Westerbork

Drentsche Golf & Country Club
The Drentsche Golf & Country Club lies close to Assen. With a 27-hole racetrack and a 9-hole Par3 court, this is an unprecedentedly spacious and varied golf course, accessible to golfers of all levels. Who knows, you might even spot a deer.

From Hof van Saksen, you can cycle straight to one of the best playgrounds in Drenthe, in Grolloo. There is also a wonderful beach pavilion with spacious lounge terraces on which to relax. Joytime offers entertainment for the whole family.
Assen
Situated between the canals, the bustling old centre of the city is the cultural heart of Assen. You can find a wide variety of restaurants, cafés and small shops. A market is held in the centre of Assen every Wednesday and Saturday.
Sabre-toothed tiger trail
Climb, jump, swing and balance along this experience route. Play exciting games on the app in the process. Are you stronger than a sabre-toothed tiger? The track is located in the fairy-tale Hunzebos.
